Facing Down the Giants: A Call for Mutual Aid
SSU Professor Peter Phillips will speak on his new book Giants: The Global Power Elite an exposé of the most powerful players in global capitalism; a cadre primarily of white men who hold undue influence over our lives.
The presentation will be followed by circles of conversation with various community groups, which will give participants an opportunity to discuss how to create mutual aid on the local level in the face of the transnational power structure that Dr. Phillips addresses.
