ALEX KLAITS has worked in northeastern Afghanistan with Child Fund Afghanistan and the Christian Children’s Fund, as well as several international aid organizations in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Washington, D.C. He is the co-author of Love and War in Afghanistan.
