CANCELLED: Quincy Troupe at the History Book Festival

Miles and Me (Seven Stories Press, 2018) by Quincy Troupe, is a truthful, loving story of the man and the legendary jazz artist Miles Davis and the entire catalogue of Davis' recordings. Written by the journalist, activist, and poet Quincy Troupe, who became Davis’ friend. Troupe, the first poet laureate of California, is the author of The Pursuit of Happyness, ten volumes of poetry, three children’s books, and six non-fiction works. His screenplay based on Miles and Me will be released in 2019 as a major motion picture.

Most events will take place in the Lewes Public Library, the Lewes History Museum and Margaret C. Rollins Community Center, and Lewes Presbyterian Church in historic downtown Lewes.
