Helton, author of the new novel Drugs, Joseph Mattson, editor of The Speed Chronicles, and Tony O’Neil, author of Digging the Vein, discussing the legacy of writing about drug experiences. Forgoing sensationalism, the authors are more interested in analyzing the effects of different drugs on the mind and soul, and interpreting their experiences creatively.
