Ariel Dorfman speaking at the New York Public Library

Ariel Dorfman will be speaking at the NYPL, in conversation with Paul Holdengraber, to discuss his book Feeding on Dreams, which is about his time as an exile from Pinoche’s Chile. The event will be at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, South Court Auditorium (on 5th Avenue at 42nd Street) at 7pm on Monday, September 26th.

Mickey Huff giving talk on media censorship and Fukushima in Berkeley

Mickey Huff, author of Censored 2012, will be giving a talk on media censorship and its relation to the nuclear industry after a screening of the film The Battle of Chernobyl.
The event will take place at the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists on Friday, September 23rd at 6pm.
