  • Jason Grunebaum, translator of ‘Walls of Delhi’ speaking at CUNY tonight

    Walls of Delhi comps C-2The Walls of Delhi, an acclaimed collection of short stories by Indian author Uday Paresh will be released next May and is masterfully translated by Jason Grunebaum.

    Check out Jason speaking at the CUNY Graduate Center this Friday, September 27th at 5pm in a panel on the challenges of translating work from India’s many languages for an English-speaking audience.

    All events (including the reception) will be held at the James Gallery at the CUNY Graduate Center on Friday, Sept. 27. The symposium is being supported by a grant from Amazon and is co-sponsored by the Center for the Humanities at the CUNY Graduate Center, the Walls and Bridges Festival, and the New York Institute for the Humanities.
