Nelson Mandela inspired the world and his recent death triggered a global celebration of his values and achievements. Join News Dissector Danny Schechter, author of Madiba A to Z: The Many Faces of Nelson Mandela for a book reading/signing and discussion at this Greenwich Villages Cultural Landmark.

Madiba A to Z was commissioned by the producers of the movie Mandela Long Walk To Freedom starring Idris Elba because they recognized that no one movie can tell the whole story. Each chapter of this unique portrait corresponds to a letter of the alphabet, and the letters cover major and minor, unexpected and fascinating themes in Mandela’s life and his impact on others: Athlete, Bully, Comrade, Forgiveness, Indigenous, Jailed, Militant, and President, to name a few.
