James Lecesne at Come Out Writing

On Friday, November 2nd, James Lecesne, author of Trevor, will be at the Mark Twain House and Museum in Hartford for the Come Out Writing: Queer Authors Tell All event. Along with fellow queer writers Bessy Reyna, Frank Anthony Polito, and Jaques Lammarre, Lecesne will be discussing the strengths and challenges that being gay brings to the art of writing.

The opening reception will begin at 7pm, followed by an open conversation at 8pm. Tickets are $25, and all proceeds will go to True Colors, a Hartford-based nonprofit that offers support, education, and advocacy for LGBT youth, adults, and families.
