Womencare is honored to join with The Midwifery Institute of Philadelphia University to host an inspiring day
with Ina May Gaskin in support of birth options for Philadelphia Communities! We invite everyone ~ mothers,
daughters, expecting couples, women’s health professionals and advocates, family & friends of all ages ~ all
who are interested in the relevance and importance of birth in our area, to gather with us!

Ina May Gaskin has been called “the most important person in maternity care in North America, bar none” by
Marsden Wagner, M.D., M.S., former Director of Women’ s and Children’s Health, World Health
Organization. Join us as we welcome “the world’s most famous midwife” to share a lively day of education,
inspiration, and fellowship with this legend of modern midwifery and women’s health.
