Minecraft is played by more than 30 million people of all ages around the world and revolutionized the indie gaming industry. The Swedish creator of this cultural phenomenon, known in the gaming community as ‘Notch,’ has become an icon and a multi-millionaire in a few short years. Kids and adults have embraced the game for its simple, unique design and its endless possibilities for creative innovation. Now you can read the very first English-language book about the creator of this revolutionary game.

Minecraft: The Unlikely Tale of Markus “Notch” Persson and the Game that Changed Everything (November 5, 2013), is based on Swedish journalists Linus Larsson and Daniel Goldberg’s exclusive interviews with Notch, his family and friends, and big players in the gaming community. His is a story of unlikely success, fast money, and the power of digital technology to rattle an empire.

Linus Larsson and Daniel Goldberg are freelance journalists who write for several Swedish newspapers. They have covered the Scandinavian tech industry for several years. Their first book, Swedish Hackers, was published in 2011 in Sweden.
