The Swedish creator of this cultural phenomenon, known as ‘Notch,’ has become an icon and a multi-millionaire in a few short years. Kids and adults have embraced the game for its simple, unique design and its endless possibilities for creative innovation.
Minecraft: The Unlikely Tale of Markus “Notch” Persson and the Game that Changed Everything (November 5, 2013), is based on Linus Larsson and Daniel Goldberg’s exclusive interviews with Notch, his family and friends, and big players in the gaming community. Here is a story of unlikely success, fast money, and the power of digital technology to rattle an empire.
