Angela Davis Honored in 2011 MLK Celebration at Willamette University

January 21, 2011, 7PM, Angela Davis, author of Abolition Democracy and  Are Prisons Obsolete?, will be honored in a presentation titled “I Dream A World, Portraits of Black Women Who Changed America: Angela Davis” as part of Willamette University’s 2011 celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. The program is presented by the Oregon Northwest Black Pioneers and will be portrayed by Oregon State University’s College of Education Professor Jean Moule.
